One of the most underrated ways into film photography — the Cosina C1S. Cosina built SLRs for half the industry under other people's badges, and the C1S is that same chassis sold under their own name: a fully mechanical K-mount body with a 1/2000 top shutter speed, a spec that cost three times as much on a brand-name body of the same era. The batteries run the meter LEDs and nothing else, so the camera keeps shooting at every speed even with dead cells. Paired here with the Cosina MC Macro 35-70mm f/3.5-4.8 zoom, which covers wide-to-short-tele and focuses close enough for flowers and detail shots.
