Fujica ST705 + MC Helios 44M-6 58mm F2
Rs. 8,000.00
The Fujica ST705 is one of the more capable M42 screw-mount SLRs of the late 1970s — a 1977 body with a 1/1500s top shutter speed, unusually quick for the mount, and open-aperture metering when used with Fujinon glass. Fuji built these solidly and they are still overlooked next to their Pentax contemporaries. Paired here with the MC Helios 44M-6 58mm f/2, the multicoated late version of the Soviet Biotar copy famous for its swirling background rendering wide open.

The battery cap is missing and the light meter does not work as a result, so this is shot with a handheld meter or a phone app. Every shutter speed fires correctly, and the Helios 58mm f/2 delivers the swirly rendering it is bought for — the moisture stains and light scratches on it are cosmetic and show as a touch of extra flare wide open.
