Konica Auto S

The Konica Auto S is a compact rangefinder that puts a fixed lens and a clear viewfinder into a small body, which makes it an easy camera to carry for everyday street shooting. This particular copy has a clean lens and a cosmetic finish that is in excellent condition. Its shutter fires at every speed we tested, so the mechanical side of the camera is in good order. The one fault is serious: the film catching mechanism is broken, so this camera cannot be used with film until it is repaired. It is listed as a display and restoration piece, priced to reflect that.

Because the film catching mechanism does not work, this camera is not suitable for shooting film in its current state. Buyers looking for a working film camera should look elsewhere in our range. The shutter, viewfinder and lens are sound, so the body suits repair or collection.
