This M42-FX adapter is the simple bridge between the two. M42 screw-mount lenses were the workhorse of 35mm SLRs from many makers for decades, and this ring lets those glass collections reach a modern X-series mirrorless body. It is a plain mechanical part, with no optics and no electronics, so what it does is exactly what it looks like. The unit is brand new, from a generic maker, and is listed here with a Near Mint grade.

Specifications

Lens end: M42 x 1 screw mount, the 42mm thread used by M42-mount lenses.

Camera end: Fujifilm X mount, for X-series mirrorless bodies.

Built to hold the lens squarely and without wobble, with the flange-distance difference between the two mounts compensated.

Supports focusing to infinity with the lens's own focus ring.

No electronic contacts, so autofocus and automatic aperture control do not carry over.
