nikon-pb-6-bellows-ar-7-double-cable-release-l0386
Nikon PB-6 Bellows + Nikon AR-7 Double Cable Release

The Nikon PB-6 is the serious way into macro photography — a precision bellows that sits between body and lens and lets you dial extension anywhere from 48mm to 208mm. More extension means more magnification, and a bellows gives you a continuous range rather than the fixed steps of extension tubes. It is built like the rest of the professional Nikon system: geared rails, a locking focusing rack, and a camera mount that rotates so you can shoot vertically without rebuilding the whole setup.

Sold here with the accessory that makes it a pleasure rather than a chore. The Nikon AR-7 is a double cable release: one end to the camera, the other to the bellows release plug, and a single press stops the lens down to your chosen aperture and then fires the shutter. You focus at full aperture and the lens closes only at the moment of exposure. PB-6 bodies turn up regularly; the releases much less often.

Specifications

Bellows: Nikon PB-6, Nikon F-mount

Extension range: 48mm to 208mm

Extension with the optional PB-6E: 83mm to 437mm

Camera rotation: Yes — horizontal or vertical framing

Reverse mounting: Supported with the optional reversing ring; the AR-7 keeps working with the lens reversed

Release: Nikon AR-7 double cable release, standard ISO cable-release thread

Release function: Automatic diaphragm control, stopping down at the moment of exposure

Compatible accessories: PB-6E extension bellows, PB-6D spacer

Bellows weight: approximately 1,305g

Condition

Cosmetic: Both items in excellent+ condition with minimal to no signs of age or use.
