The Olympus OM-2n is one of the genuinely important cameras in 35mm history. Olympus's OM system shrank the SLR to a size everyone else spent a decade trying to match, and the OM-2 added something nobody had done before: off-the-film metering, reading light reflected from the film surface itself during the exposure. That is why its aperture-priority automation still behaves well in awkward light where match-needle cameras of the era guess wrong, and why OTF metering went on to define automatic flash exposure for everybody. Condition

• Cosmetic: Excellent condition with minimal signs of age and use as shown in the photos. The lens is very clean. There is minor dust inside the viewfinder.
• Functional: Fully working. Aperture-priority automation and manual mode both correct, shutter accurate, meter responding properly, lens focus and aperture smooth.

There is minor dust inside the viewfinder. It sits in the finder optics, not in the light path to the film, so it has no effect whatsoever on your negatives — it is a thing you may notice while composing and nothing more. Beyond that this is a clean, fully working OM-2n with a very clean wide-angle prime: small, quiet, one of the best automatic exposure systems of the film era, and a 28mm that is the right first lens for the system.
