Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650

Before smartphones took over snapshot duties, a pocketable 7-megapixel point-and-shoot was the camera most people carried. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 is one of those 2007-era compacts, with a 3x zoom, a 2.0-inch LCD and a macro mode that focuses down to 2 cm. It runs on two ordinary AA batteries rather than a proprietary pack, which makes it easy to keep running on the road. It is a good choice for anyone who wants to shoot with a simple digital compact from that period.
