HMT Shreyash

The HMT Shreyash is a hand-wound mechanical from Hindustan Machine Tools, the Bangalore factory that built watches under Citizen licence and put a dependable mechanical on millions of Indian wrists between the 1960s and 2016. The Shreyash is a clean, unfussy dress piece — the kind of watch you wind once each morning and forget about. With HMT production long since ended, every good original example is one fewer left.
