The long-reach member of the cult. Olympus launched the mju Zoom 140 in May 1998 as the top of the mju line, and the headline was the sheer amount of lens they folded into a pocketable body — a 38-140mm f/4-11 zoom, ten elements in eight groups, in what was then the world's smallest and lightest 140mm zoom camera. It carries the mju signatures that made the range a cult object: the sliding clamshell barrier that doubles as the power switch, all-weather splash sealing, and fully automatic operation that gets out of your way entirely. There is a real-image zoom finder with a dioptre adjuster, spot metering if you want it, and DX reading from ISO 50 to 3200.
