Olympus OM G.Zuiko Auto-S 50mm F1.4

The Olympus G.Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.4 is the fast normal that the OM system was designed around. The "G" is not decoration — Olympus used the alphabet to count elements, G being the seventh letter and the lens carrying seven elements in six groups. It is compact in the way all OM glass is compact, and at f/1.4 it gives you a full stop and a half over a kit 50mm, with the shallow focus and low-light reach that comes with it. One of the genuine bargains in fast fifties.
