Timex Expedition Indiglo Analog-Digital Quartz

The Timex Expedition in its analog-digital form — a cream dial with real hands over a digital window at six, wrapped in the Expedition's field-watch styling. Timex introduced Indiglo in 1992: an electroluminescent panel behind the dial that lights the whole face in an even blue-green glow at the press of a button, rather than the patchy spots of traditional lume. It worked so well that Casio launched its own version three years later and the technology became an industry standard.
