Viltrox 15mm F1. 7 air for Sony APS-C

Viltrox's AF 15mm F1.7 AIR for Sony E-mount is a compact, ultra-light APS-C prime aimed at vloggers and street shooters who want a fast wide-angle without added bulk. It sits in Viltrox's budget-friendly Air series, which strips down lens barrels to a minimum while keeping autofocus and a bright maximum aperture.

On an APS-C Sony body the 15mm focal length gives roughly a 22.5mm full-frame equivalent field of view, a popular range for interiors, landscapes and environmental portraits. The f/1.7 aperture lets it work in dim light and separate subjects from backgrounds more than typical kit zooms, while a stepper-motor autofocus system aims to keep it quiet and usable for video.
